Two different workshops will be running throughout the weekend, which will cover the topics of artificial intelligence and OCT analysis.
The CPD accredited programme kicks off at 3:45pm on 24th February with a lecture from Tim Cole, Clinical Affairs Manager, Heidelberg Engineering Limited, titled “Do androids dream of electric eyes”.
“Having been immersed in OCT for the best part of 20 years, I will be sharing my experience about the current fast-growing trends in OCT and talking about where we are headed with this imaging technology that has revolutionised eye care in the 21st century”, says Tim.
Tim, will follow-up with a peer review workshop “OCT analysis: Learning the Eyeway Code” at 11:30am on 26th February.
“This workshop will provide guidance on how to systematically evaluate OCT images for signs of eye disease and how to correctly describe pathology in OCT scans to enhance your referrals”, says Tim.
