Hemel Hempstead, UK – The Heidelberg Engineering Academy will be hosting more educational events than ever before in 2017. A commitment to providing first class training on OCT and fundus imaging will see the Academy offer over 100 hours of education in 2017.
“The Academy has carefully constructed an educational programme to cater for the training needs of all eye care professionals who are undertaking ocular imaging as part of their role” explains Christopher Mody, Director of Clinical Services. “Courses providing tuition in OCT and fundus image acquisition are available as well as courses on image interpretation and patient management”.
The comprehensive selection of courses are held regularly at the Academy Training Centre in Hemel Hempstead, including OCT and fundus imaging operation and interpretation, hands-on training using the SPECTRALIS Imaging Platform and using OCT for the detection and management of glaucoma.
A highlight of the educational programme is the Heidelberg Engineering Academy 6th Annual Retina Masterclass, which will be held on Wednesday 24th May in Liverpool alongside the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Congress and feature cutting-edge research on OCT angiography and autofluorescence imaging.
