The Heidelberg Engineering Academy has welcomed in the new year with two new courses that provide training on multimodal imaging capture and analysis.
The SPECTRALIS Image Capture Course provides tuition on how to acquire images, including tips and tricks for traditionally challenging eyes. A thorough selection of different imaging techniques are covered during the course including infrared, OCT, OCT angiography, MultiColor, BluePeak autofluorescence, anterior segment, widefield, and glaucoma imaging modules.
The SPECTRALIS: Skills for Diabetic Eye Screening Course is specifically tailored to diabetic eye screeners who wish to learn how to capture OCT images competently, understand normal retinal anatomy, and identify pathological changes.
“These new courses have been designed to help participants take the best quality images, which in turn allows for the most accurate diagnostics”, says Tim Cole, Clinical Affairs Manager. The Heidelberg Engineering Academy is committed to raising the standard of education in ophthalmic imaging and empowering participants with confidence and knowledge to take away and improve patient care in their clinic.”
