Your invitation to the Heidelberg Engineering Academy 6th Annual Retina Masterclass
We are pleased to invite you to join us for the 6th Annual Heidelberg Engineering Academy Masterclass being held on Wednesday 24th May 2017 at the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool.
This year’s Masterclass will look at non-invasive vascular imaging methodologies including the role of OCT angiography and MultiColor imaging in the clinical decision making process. This will include a discussion on the extent to which these techniques will replace or complement fluorescein and ICG angiography. For the first time, the popular OCT LIVE format is being brought to the Masterclass. Two real patients from the Royal Liverpool Hospital will be imaged live on the big screen using the SPECTRALIS and the audience will be invited to test their diagnostic skills.
We are honoured that Pearse Keane, NIHR Clinician Scientist at the Institute of Ophthalmology, has once again kindly agreed to chair the Masterclass and to have with special guest speakers Professor Usha Chakravarthy, Queens University Belfast and Roberto Gallego-Pinazo, University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe of Valencia, Spain as our Keynote Speakers.
The venue is conveniently located within walking distance of the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre (ACC), where the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCO) Annual congress will be taking place. The programme will run from 17:30 until 20:30 and a fork buffet dinner will be provided.
